Stealing the playlist - thank you! As an eighteen year old in my dorm room, I would wake up every-day to Nine Inch Nails - Right Where it Belongs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-jZHMX-CJ0 so I can totally relate to the find your jam (literally), set the tone to the day, repeat theory.
There is an anthem out there for some part of our lives/part of our day just have to find it. My four year old has taken a liking to soundtracks and original scores so the likes of Interstellar/Oppenheimer feature regularly in our car rides home from his school. Here's another one for your playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVomQtrtMTM

Thank you so much for sharing these! I too listened to a lot of NIN growing up. Funny that you brought them up because I will say, I definitely remember my first experience listening to Nine Inch Nails and I remember thinking "wow, this is a different type of music." The song is 'Wish' off of the Broken EP.
I actually just put that into my current playlist :) Thank you for jogging my memory there!
Love the comment about everyone having their own anthem. That's how I have always felt, too. Everyone has that one song that really gets them going, and it's a different song for every person.
And thank you for the recommendation to Tom Day! I love that kind of music but he's new to me. Glad you liked the article!
